The route at a glance

The Lake Constance to Königssee cycle route crosses the Bavarian Alpine foothills from Lake Constance to the Königssee in the Berchtesgadener Land. After starting on the lake shore you ride through the rolling Allgäu with its pastures, farms and villages and reach Füssen, close to Neuschwanstein Castle. From there the route follows the edge of the Alps to the Königssee, where boats run to the church of St. Bartholomä. It is well signposted and varied, but expect hills and climbs along the way.
