The route at a glance

The Weser Cycle Path follows the river for around 500 kilometres from Hann. Münden, where the Fulda and Werra join to form the Weser, to the North Sea at Cuxhaven. After its half-timbered old town you ride through the Weser Uplands, past Hamelin, the Pied Piper town, and through the Porta Westfalica. Bremen has its town hall, Roland and Town Musicians, and at the end you reach the Wadden Sea, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The paths are very well signposted and mostly flat, and suit families.
